The funeral of Cathriona White, the young Irish Hollwood make-up artist who tragically took her own life, is taking place today in her hometown of Cappawhite, Tipperary.
Actor Jim Carrey arrived in Ireland yesterday for the funeral of White, who was his on-again, off-again girlfriend since 2012.
Carrey arrived in Dublin via private plane early Friday and was seen entering the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Cappawhite earlier today.
He then joined her grieving family in carrying White's casket.

Yesterday, in the small Tipperary town, hundreds of local residents thronged the funeral parlor, founded by Cathriona’s grandfather, to pay their respects.
Her family then brought her casket into the church. The procession was led by White’s mother Brigid, stepmother Brid, brother James, sister Lisa, half-sisters Sarah and Larina, and step-brother Tadgh.
The Cappawhite Ladies GAA club, with which Cathriona played camogie, formed an honor guard.
Cathriona tragically took her own life in Los Angeles and left a note which apparently stated “Jim, I love you. Please forgive me. I'm not for this world.”
The 30-year-old former makeup artist is being laid to rest next to her father Pat in her native Cappawhite. He lost his years-long battle with brain cancer in 2012.
A source told The Sunday People newspaper : "Jim has been left devastated after the tragic death of Cathriona.
"Attending her funeral in Ireland will be the least he could do to pay tribute to the woman he loved."
The source said Carey had been in close contact with the White's family, who wanted him at the funeral. "They know how much he meant to her," the source said Carrey called her a “delicate flower, too sensitive for this soil.”.
White's step-mother Brigid and sister Lisa flew to Los Angeles to take her body home to Ireland last week.
The Tipperary-born woman, who had recently celebrated her 30th birthday, was found dead in her Sherman Oaks, California home on September 28. She left notes to different loved ones, including Carrey, and a variety of prescription pill bottles - some prescribed to an alias Carrey used - were found near her body. It has been reported that all of the prescriptions were infrequently used by Carrey and he had not known they were missing.
In the wake of White's death, her anguished mental health history has emerged. The young make-up artist lost her father, Pat, in 2012, and was unable to go home to Ireland for the funeral as she was undocumented. It was at this time that she first attempted to take her own life.
White, who became involved with Scientology, married a fellow Scientologist, camera man Mark Burton, in Las Vegas in 2013. The two had separated earlier this year, before White reunited with Carrey, and were reportedly set to begin divorce proceedings.
Carrey and White had put the breaks on their romace a few days before her death.
The White family's only public statement since losing Cathriona has been "The family of Cathriona White sincerely regret the untimely passing of their beloved daughter and sister.
“Cathriona was a shining light in our lives who was loved deeply by her entire family.
“We will miss her terribly and at this difficult time we ask to be left in private to mourn our loss.”
