As part of our week-long focus on mental health in Irish American community we compiled a list of helpful links and hotlines for those who may be suffering from depression or be concerned about a loved one.

From speaking to members with in your community to reaching out to anonymous stranger there are plenty of options out there for those who are willing to talk.

The Coalition of Immigration Centers

The Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers (CIIC) is a national umbrella organization which represents Irish immigrant groups throughout the United States. From this site you can find your local Irish center where you can connect with your Irish and Irish American community.

Provides free information on over 200 mental health topics including bipolar disorder, depression, bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder and warning signs of mental illness.
