Irish American actor, George Clooney, has been gracing our screens with his good looks for years now, and is only getting better with age. Here's a look at a few of his more memorable roles and appearances over the years.
Clooney sent hearts a flutter as Dr. Doug Ross in medical TV drama ER, playing the role from 1994 - 99.
Clooney played Seth Gecko in 1996 vampire flick "From Dusk til Dawn", directed by and starring Quentin Tarantino.
Clooney took on the role of Batman in 1997's "Batman and Robin." He played the suave and sophisticated Bruce Wayne alongside Chris O'Donnell's Robin and Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl.
Clooney played Danny Ocean in the 2001 remake of "Ocean's Eleven," where he got to team up with buddies Brad Pitt and Matt Damon.
Never one to be left off any "Sexiest Man" list, Clooney has been bestowed with the honor many times in his career.
Clooney proved that he was committed to his acting by risking his "Sexiest Man" awards by gaining weight for his role in 2005's "Syriana", where he was almost unrecognizable while playing lead role of Bob Barnes.
Content with not always showing his face on screen, Clooney lent his voice to 2009's animation "Fantastic Mr. Fox", playing the lead role.
In the past, Clooney has been known for his producing skills as well as his acting. His most recent producing effort was for the political movie, "The Ides of March", where he also played lead role alongside Ryan Gosling.
