An Irish TV3 documentary, “Ireland's Sex Tourists” has revealed the growing number of Irish men who are travelling abroad for sex. The documentary shows how Irishmen going on sex vacations view their interactions with prostitutes as just another financial transaction.
According to the documentary, tens of thousands of Irishmen, between the ages of 18 and 60, are travelling abroad to red light districts across Europe on an annual basis.

The TV3 documentary follows two Irishmen as they travel to strip clubs and brothels in the red light districts in Hamburg in Germany and Prague in the Czech Republic looking for prostitutes. It highlights the dark side of the sex trade in Europe and how some of those working as prostitutes are victims of trafficking and exploitation.
