The Bloomberg Ireland Economic Summit which will be held on the 16th May, is set to explore the Irish economy as it continues to weather turbulent times. The Summit plans to ask if Ireland will end up being a test case for the European recovery.

Bloomberg’s Ireland Economic Summit will take place at the Gibson Hotel in Dublin. The topics discussed at the event will include Ireland's recovery: past, present and future, the country's relationship with the European Union, multinational corporations in Ireland, the nation's banking industry, and the future of technology in Ireland.

"Even as signs of stabilization are growing, risks to Ireland and Europe remain high," said Robert Bierman, head of Bloomberg LINK. "Bloomberg will gather investors, company executives and government officials to offer advice and guidance on making money in Ireland with this economic and financial backdrop."

Kicking off the Summit will be a special address by the Taoiseach (Prime Minister) of Ireland Enda Kenny followed by an update on the Irish economy by Finance Minister Michael Noonan.
