Young Irish rower adrift in North Atlantic after boat capsizes
Aodhan Kelly due to be rescued after Atlantic Challenge flounders
An Irishman is one of six sailors adrift in a lifeboat in the North Atlantic.
Dubliner Aodhan Kelly, 26, is the youngest crew member on the Sara G, a rowing boat which capsized on Monday.
The British crew were attempting the Atlantic Odyssey Challenge, to row from Morocco to Barbados, when they ran into trouble.
They were 27 days into their journey when the 36 foot rowing boat overturned on Monday morning, about 520 miles from their finish point.

British coastguards are currently co-ordinating the rescue effort from Cornwall and have been in touch with the crew.
“They are safe and well in a raft which was lashed to the hull of their overturned boat,” said a Coastguard spokesman.
A Panamanian-flagged cargo ship is due on the scene to rescue the six.
The spokesman added: “The shore contact for the Sara G managed to get through to the crew of the boat via satellite phone.
“He ascertained that the boat had capsized and they had abandoned to the life raft, which was tethered to the capsized vessel. All crew are said to be safe and well.”
