It's easier for a BUlgarian to retire to Ireland than an Irish-American wh is well off and just wants the climate and culture. Come to your senses and get the Bulgarians out and the retired Cops in. No more "ghost estates".
Great idea butlerreport!! Government can fund builders with money it doesn't have for non-existent buyers. I smell a Fianna Fail finance minister in our midst!!!
Wouldn't it have been better all around for the government to fund the completion of these estates this providing employment for builders and housing. It would have been an investment in people as well was property. Duh.
Boy am I ever gullible. When I read the headline I thought it was going to be a story touting haunted houses for tourists adventures. So instead of being skeptical, I am feeling sad for the frustrating situation.
Looks like Irish Academics running NAMA have it right again. 200,000 a year for developers should make things even better.
