The former Miss Northern Ireland whose topless photos were leaked by pupils, could be on track to earn $1 million a year, according to a PR guru.

Max Clifford, a well known British publicist, has said that the teacher at the prestigious Harrow school, should consider a career in glamour modeling.

Clifford said the the Tyrone woman should not be ashamed of the shots.

“This is every schoolboy’s fantasy about their schoolmistress,” he said.

“If she wants to go down that route, which she probably won’t, she could make £1m in the next year.

“She is a modern-day fantasy become a reality. She could have an amazing year,” he told the Belfast Telegraph.

Clifford added that the Cambridge graduate was “hot property” and advised that she should turn the scandal to her advantage.

“Her looks and her background as a Harrow teacher make her up-market and sexy,” he said.

Joanne Salley from Dungannon in County Tyrone was photographed topless in a least two provocative poses, wearing only a pair of tight fitting denim jeans.

The pictures were found on a memory stick by a student in the school’s photography studio and were leaked to pupils and workers in the school, before they went viral on the Internet.

The images were captured by Fiona Corthine, a co-worker of Salley’s, who is head of photography.

Bosses at the prestigious school have stood by their employee and denied reports that she has gone into hiding after quitting her job.

“Joanne Salley is a long-standing and successful art teacher at Harrow who has, in the past, been a model,” said Barnaby Lenon, head teacher at the £30,000-a-year school.

“Photographs of her modeling were taken by a professional photographer who also teaches photography part-time at the school.

“These pictures were stolen and passed on to some pupils at the school without the agreement of the photographer.”

Before beginning her career in education, Salley worked as a model and TV presenter. She is a trained ballet teacher and polo enthusiast.
