An unknown Irishman is now a global viral phenomenon – after gatecrashing the Tokyo St Patrick’s Day parade with his hurling stick!
The GAA jersey clad intruder was caught on camera as he joined a Japanese stick dancing troupe at the city’s parade.
The GAA fan and a pal, also armed with a hurley and with a leprechaun hat on his head, jumped in at the tail end of the dance troupe on the Tokyo street.
Both men brandished hurling sticks but the hatless hero was the star turn.
Dressed in what may be a Tipperary jersey, he was foot perfect as he mimicked the stick dancers with his hurley.
The video has been posted by every Irish media website including the Irish Independent.
