Palin fails to lay out her economic plan to create jobs

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin, in her first television appearance since the release of 25,000 emails from her term as Alaska governor, told the press this week she hopes the American public learned the truth about her from her '"benign and boring" messages.

Talking to Fox Business Network’s 'Freedom Watch' on Thursday, Palin suggested she might enjoy being a 2012 presidential contender. if only "to give the White House fits."

"I would love to stir it up even more and get the electorate to really start thinking about what the solutions are to these great challenges facing America and how it is that we're going to create jobs, how it is that we're going to get this economy back on the right track."

Palin did not indicate what her personal plan was to create jobs or get the economy back on the right track.

Palin also took the opportunity to discuss former Congressman Anthony Weiner’s resignation on Thursday, saying he made himself "impotent" by spreading lewd photos on the Internet.

"Anthony Weiner, from henceforth after his personal indiscretions were disclosed, he was going to be rendered impotent basically in Congress and he wasn’t going to be effective," Palin said. "So obviously resigning was the right thing to do. Day late dollar short, though. I think he should have resigned when all of this came to light."

Hi Jamthecat. Analysis of Sarah Palin's emails using Flesch-Kincaid shows scores of 8.2 to 8.5. By comparison, President Obama's SOTU address in January 2011 scored 8.1. Just thought you'd be interested.

AngelPrecious, you really should read the article and comments and try to comprehend them before you speak. Sarah's use of the English language is what we're making fun of...because she obviously has minimal command of it, something she has shown over and over and over. No deep thoughts. No great pronouncements. Just mangled sentences that barely make sense, on the rare occasions where they even seem to. American politics used to attract great thinkers and speakers, like Daniel Webster and William Jennings Bryant and Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Delano Roosevelt and (even though I vehemently disagreed with his politics) William F. Buckley; now we got "Little Miss American Idol Wannabe" representing what is supposedly the best this nation has to offer. It's insulting.

It's my opinion that Sarah Palin has made a joke of American politics. She's poorly educated, has failed her children (her most important asset) and she failed Alaska by quitting. I wish she would retreat and allow valid, decent politicians to move forward with America.

Regarding that recent bus tour - where was the youngest member of the Palin family? Piper, the second youngest, was along for the ride, but I would have thought with your parents also there as baby sitters and with the convenience of a travel bus, why didn't she bring her youngest along? She certainly had him with her during her VP attempts; who watches this little one while Mrs. Palin travels away from home so often and so much? Hmmm.

This one doesn't know how to speak English and she's now going to diagnose Weiner's sexual state. The stuff that's been exposed about her ought to leave people alarmed, but wait until the author who took up residence next to the Palin's comes out with his book. Big time writer Joe ________. What about Palin's husband; Todd's affair as reported in The National Enquirer of 20th January, 2011? Why is she reported as buying a house in Scottsdale rather than her and her husband or the family buying a house? It's been reported that he had an extramarital affiar with a massage therapist who has been "busted for prostitution." The Enquirer claimed it has unearthed official documents showing 36-year-old Shailey Tripp was arested for maintaining a house of prostitution in March and that cops have confiscated physical evidence that could tie Todd to the alleged affair. The tabloid did not disclose when the alleged rendezvous took place or what evidence was seized by police.
