Joey, I don't think the point is that there are more paedophiles in the catholic church, although I'm not entirely sure there aren't. The problem is the way they have colluded to cover up child sex abuse, and are implicated in the cover up all the way up to the Pope. They have spent decades, and probably actually centuries, moving the offenders around from one parish to another, rather than turn any of them over to the civil authorities, and this is what has to stop now. Enda Kenny just may be the man to do it. The Pope himself, as a cardinal, has been proven to have known that at least one child sex offender in Germany was moved around in this way, and did nothing about it, not of course that it is all his fault. There is plenty of blame to go around.

Yankee724...I think you don't know much about the Roman Catholic Church. They claim they are Jesus Christ here on earth! Why do the (children and their parents)have to go to confession to these men at least once a month or be in "mortal sin"? Why is the confessional a privilidge they cannot divuldge?
