A little pepper spray should help with the smell of the BO, piss and dung the ows protesters seem so fond of.

These kids at UC Davis and others places have taken a hit, but the cops and the pencil necks have taken the bait. The resentment and anger is spreading. This is not going to stop. People like O'Reilly and the rest of those hood ornaments may regret some of their wise ass statements and attitude down the road.

Fox News, News Corp, Rupert and family and Roger Ailes are a blight on ethical journalism and hopefully as the their empire is taken down in England, it will be taken down here as well.

talk about spin,these people are never ever going to question establishment ethics,this is the response which reacts when money and property are threatened,i hate seeing the destruction of the constitution,it was already dead anyway,never forget kent uni,or kissinger and nixon who authorised the bombing of cambodia without the knowledge of the american senate,which incidently was completely against the constitution and american law,not to mention rendition,imprisonment without charge and ilegal torture,i just hope there are some americans left who can rescue it from the facists who run it now,but i doubt it,the right wing have become the state and have destroyed the finest peice of leglistation ever written for the advancement of mankind and justice,those mouthpieces,contemptible..those billy clubs,in the stomach hard to break a peacfull sit down.way over the top..

You should have paid more attention, monsoonman; the police did use billy clubs to pry the demonstrators apart since the pepper spry didn't get rid of everyone. But you keep on ignoring facts so that your fantasy view of the world won't be jeopardized by anything approaching reality or humanity. Same goes to maloney, who appears incapable of caring about anything outside his own self-interests. You both are sad versions of human beings.

An interesting survey at a Private University in New Jersey interviewed people on their news media preferences and on their understanding of current events. Those who said they regularly watched Fox unerstood less about current events than those who said that they did not follow the news at all. This is understandable in the light of Ailes confession on "Meet The Press" earlier this year that Fox was an entertainment channel and he was not concerned with the validity of its reporting. Tasers and Pepper spray were supplied to the police by tax payers so that they would stop shooting people who were posing a violent threat to the police, themselves or others. Those protesters were posing no violent threat to anyone and so the pepper spray was greater force than was needed. This makes it a violation of police procedure and law. In other places the officers just picked up the protesters and placed them in their cars or trucks to be arraigned for trial. This bum was lazy and tried to use the pepper spray as a tool of compliance. Hopefully he and those who overreacted to this peaceful sit-in will be out of jobs soon and will understand why the 99% are angry. If you watch Fox and it is the only source of your knowledge you will find that the only people you agree with are other watchers of Fox. MediaMatters web site is a good place to check up on the stuff Fox feeds you. Ailes was right though, I laugh my head off when I watch Fox - it is very entertaining.

Too bad these humans have Irish surnames, because if they didn't, I'd not have to read about them in the Faux News Network. It's guaranteed that neither protested for civil rights women's right, the Viet Nam War. They just did what they were told growing up... hopefully they are still growing up and there's a chance they'll see the light, but probably not.

Since when did news 'anchors' start interpreting the news? Aren't they supposed to present it? Always a desperate sign when those in the media start interviewing each other and spouting barely disguised party propaganda. It is as bad as Radio Moscow in the 1980s.

Kelly certainly fills that Little Black Dress rather nicely, but in this case the only thing smart about her is the dress. Her claim that Pepper Spray is a "food product" shows her up as a right-wing nut.

Remind me, again, Maloney, what the police officers in stormtrooper gear were defending when they pepper-sprayed students at a non-violent protest? Mastercard? Goldman Sachs? The business interests of various colon-packed Republicans and their Percodan wives? My, how the United States has been brought low. At one time US authorities were empowered to defend the Constitution. Now they are defending the rights of bank boardrooms to bribe police officers to stamp out dissent. Republicans = Americans who have been bribed to forget the Constitution.

Liberals once again show just how stupid they really are. Anyone with a brain would have gotten up and moved to keep from being sprayed.
