They may be brave, but rather than heroes, they are victims.
brilliant observation about how people are brainwashed.you cant question any aspect of militarism, they pinned medals on the ss,they were called heroes, every mass murdering uniformed soldier from the dawn of time has had medals pinned on his manly chest.,was calley a hero?/,was the carpet bombing of north Vietnam and Cambodia carried out by HEROES,he was right to voice his opinion of just what heroism actually is.but look at the shitstorm he had to endure, anyone who dares to question the right or wrong of the military automatically becomes an enemy,a real hero was the pilot who put his helicopter between calleys murdering outfit and defenceless women and children,he didnt get any medals though. patriotism is a powerfull weapon in the hands of war mongers.unthinking unquestioning obedience.YES SIR NO SIR YES SIR BULLSHIT.
I don't know the person but from what I read it seems to me he's somewhat of leftist leech who does nothing but denigrate the country and those that serve so he can say whatever he wants. Simply put - a privileged punk with an ex-priest for a Dad....
it is not a gaffe. it is truth. Calling someone killed in war a hero is a fat lot of use when he/she is dead and family destroyed. Calling dead men heroes is brainwashing in fact. Why is one called a hero for killing others too? If Obama and others want to go to war- then let him and his op poser dual it out- only one dies then. Bet they wont agree to that. There is way too much profit in war and too much feeding the evil force with death. We are on this planet to live- not die like fools so others can profit from it.
The Liberal Silence is Deafening.
