Jury selection is scheduled to begin this week for the upcoming trial of a Dorchester native accused of murdering Irishman Ciaran Conneely in Boston on October 10, 2011.

Conneely had been living in the US for 12 years when he was found dead near his home in Dorchester. He died from gunshot wounds.

John Graham was just 17 when he was charged with the murder of the 36-year-old Irishman, who was a native of the Aran Islands.

Graham is also facing charges of armed assault with intent to murder, aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, and two additional counts of armed assault with intent to rob, all in connection with an incident that occurred Oct 30, 2011.

Graham has been held without bail since his arrest and there will be a single trial on all of the above charges. The trial will get underway as soon as the jury is selected. It is difficult to predict how long jury selection may take, but it's scheduled to commence on March 18 at Suffolk Superior Court in Boston.
