Like Murph46 said re. airlifting patients from Ireland to USA for specialist medical treatment, and invoicing for same. There is an economic reality to everything. Somebody has to pick up the tab. I'm all for empathy, but how do we balance the public books for such opertions. Perhaps Bbythebay and others will chip-in?

Red triangle is where one of the largest concentrations of great white sharks gather off coast of California. From Bodega in the north to big sur in the south and out to Farralons to the west. They feed on the great populations of sea lions/elephant seals and anything else they encounter. Up to 23 ft long and 7 thousand lbs, they are fierce predators.
