Reading in today's Indo that Eoghan Harris has received a death threat over an article he wrote about McGuinness. The thug element is still alive and kicking amongst Martin's pals. Another journalist was harrassed as he attempted to picture McGuinness's BMW. So much for average industrial wage. I wonder how that luxury car was financed. Does the NIB finance automobiles ?

Woodman: Your:- " And by the way no one went after Hitler until he declared war on them." - is quite untrue. Hitler never declared war on Great Britain, but they declared war and went after - and got him too! I say! - Do get it right, old chap!

I seem to remember that the Tory Prime Minister made a peace deal with Hitler at Munich. I seem to remember that the Soviet Union signed a non-aggression pact with Hitler that allowed him to open up on France. At least the USA and Ireland did not sign peace treaties with Hitler. And by the way no one went after Hitler until he declared war on them. Had the USA entered the war before 1941, the out come probably would have been different, as the USA was totally unprepared for it.

Ah yes, the gobdaw/dimwit's fallback 'it's all about the oil'. Where was the oil in 1945 when the US went into Germany, France, Poland etc. so as all Europeans wouldn't have to speak German. Of course another RA man De velara nearly drowned in his own nasal secretions that same year as he raced over to German Ambassador Hempel's residence to offer condolences on behalf of the Irish people on the death of Hitler. I forgot Ireland was neutral during 'the emergency' and still is...oh forgot about Shannon being offered as a USAF base to fly to Iraq...shhhhhh dere's a foo bob involved dere, dont pay any heed to neutrality.

De lads are getting their blood boiling. All I will say that if the shoe fits........ RA/Sinn Feins objective is to get the British out of Ireland. Al Queda want the US out of the middle east. Both have killed many innocent people.

gobdawpaddy When a Country is occupied by a foreign nation you don't expect people to sit back and let it happen !!My people fought for what they belived in and died also !! both sides here in Ireland payed a price .We have shown the World that peace can be achieved .But the morals of any Nation is don't invade it .Some Nations cant mind there own Business hence the Troubles in the world .Pls dont insult any Irish man by comparing him to Bin laden .Good Day to you ............

Fine, but Ms. Flanagan's Sinn Fein sympathies have been known for a long time - she hosts fund raisers for them. She wouldn't say anything else. Should Americans equate Mr McGuinness with say Bin Laden, then Martin may not have such a big US following. After all McGuinness (SF/RA) wants the Brits out of Ireland and Bin Laden (Al Queda) wanted the Americans out of the middle east, notably Saudi Arabia. Both organizations have killed countless innocent people in support of their goals.
