Body of 21-year-old Irish fisherman found next to near wreck - VIDEO
Tragic death of 'a soul that shone brightly'
Kevin Kershaw, 21, was on his first fishing trip when tragedy struck the Tit Bonhomme trawler off the coast of County Cork, sinking it in rough weather.
Kerhsaw's body was recovered yesterday afternoon by divers searching for the missing crew members at Adam's Island at the mouth of Glandore Harbor.
Earlier in the day the body of Egyptian, Attia Shaban, 26 was also recovered.
Relatives of Kershaw, originally from the Tallaght suburb in west Dublin, kept vigil on the quayside since the Tit Bonhomme sank in bad weather on Sunday morning.
After the discovery of the body Paddy Kershaw, the deceased young man's father, told the Irish Independent he was thankful his son's body had been recovered.
'We are very, very thankful we got him back for the burial and I have mixed feelings. Our thoughts are with the families of the skipper and the two Egyptian families.'
Irish divers were still busy searching the seas for the remaining three fishermen on Thursday evening.
Still missing are skipper Michael Hayes and Egyptian crew members Wael Abd Elgwad and Saied Ali Eldin. The sole survivor of the tragedy is Wael Abd Elgwad's brother Mohammed.
Weather conditions have at the scene have improved making the search safer for divers.
