Simon Cowell should thank Susan Boyle all the way to the bank.

The music mogul earned a whopping $61.5 million dollars in 2009, surpassing David Beckham according to new estimates on Friday.

Cowell, owes a huge amount of that success to Susan Boyle who really helped his bank balance with her spectacular success and signing for his record label.

Overall Simon is now worth $300 million dollars.

Which begs the question: shouldn't he give some more to Susan Boyle?

After all she got her first big pay check just a few weeks ago,a paltry$6 million in comparison to what Simon is making.

Yet, without Susan, Simon would never have attained the incredible worldwide fame he has now.

So do the decent thing Simon and slip Susan a few million more.

She richly deserves it.!

Simon Cowell is first and foremost an astute business man. He provided his expertise in the entertainment field to bring Susan Boyle to the publics attention. After that, it is all Susan!!!! She is being compensated for her talents, and Simon is being compensated for his business accumen.
The only thing Simon has given Susan is the opportunity , management, expertise and backing for her to succeed AND faith in her and her talent. Also a $10,000 bracelet and a Cartier watch. Everything else Susan earned. And the 6million is just a quarterly installment I think.
Amy, I see you read Yahoo's article of Simon's $61.5 million raise, a 38 percent increase, largely credited to Suan Boyle's signing with Simon. There was also an article in Irish Central on April 21, by Kate Hickey, saying that "Susan has been tipped by industry insiders to earn over $29.5 million. She is also due to receive another large cheque, of 7.4 million, due to royalties from her current album.
