When it comes to beer, Spanish actress Penelope Cruz prefers Irish brew – even though it gets her a bit tipsy.

“I really like Guinness,” the Oscar winner recently told the China Daily. “I always drink it straight from the bottle. I have a lot of Irish friends and they introduced me to it. Although I like it if I have one I’m drunk!”

Not surprisingly (Guinness is, after all, good for you), Cruz isn’t the only Hollywood starlet to down the Irish stout – actresses like Gwyneth Paltrow are known to knock back a pint of the good stuff every now and again.
