Thunderheads rejoice! Celtic Thunder in new TV concert
Brand new show airs June 2 on WLIW
Thunderheads rejoice!
The fabulous five return to WLIW in New York tonight (9pm - check local stations for listings) with a new concert special filmed this past April.
Ryan and George will be live in studio while the concert itself will feature new songs including "Danny Boy," "Castles in the Air," "Every Breath You Take," and "You Raise Me Up."
Celtic Thunder shot to fame in 2007 with their rousing ensemble numbers and solo sensations.
They sing ballads from across the entire Celtic music spectrum; Irish Scottish, traditional and contemporary.
The eclectix mix of tunes which has made them so popular across the U.S. includes Sandie Shaw’s “Puppet on a String,” the ballad “The Town I Loved So Well,” traditional songs such as ”Mountains of Mourne,” “Come by the Hills,” and “Love Thee Dearest”, and pop classics like Paul Anka’s “Puppy Love,” the Eagles’ “Desperado,” and The Moody Blues’ “Nights in White Satin.”
