"Horse Outside" singers insist they're "upper, upper class"

The Rubberbandits, aka Blind Boy Boat Club and Mr Chrome, are well on their way to snatching the Christmas number one with their comedy rap “Horse Outside” and now their identity, once preserved under plastic bags and nick names, has been revealed.
It has been discovered, by the Irish Independent, that the two tough lads are in fact middle-class boys from the suburbs of Limerick.
However, yesterday, posing beside the statue of Oscar Wilde in Merrion Square (their hero), Blind Boy Boat Club said they were not “middle-class”. He insisted “We'd be more upper, upper class. Very wealthy and living in big houses with butlers.”
Dave Chambers (Blind Boy Boat Club) and Bob McGlynn (Mr Chrome) are both in their mid-twenties and have been friends since their high school days at Ard Scoil Ris, in north Limerick.
Their, North Circular Road, school is a well known rugby school. In fact Irish rugby star, Paul O’Connell, was ahead of them at Ard Scoil Ris.
While still at school the pair began recording prank phone calls and recording them onto cassettes and CDs. The soon gained notoriety around Limerick.
Chambers, from the plush Ennis Road, is described as the brains of the operation by a former student at Ard Scoil Ris. He told the Irish Independent “He was always big into music and they provided great fun to everyone back in the day with the wind-up phone calls.”
After school Chambers attended Limerick School of Art and Design where he studied graphics. He is currently understood to be completing a Masters in psychology.
Mr Chrome, known as Bob to his friends, is from the area of Caherdavin. From an early age he was trained in dance by his mother. He is the singer and dancer on their smash hit track “Horse Outside”.
After school Bob studied model-making in Dun Laoghaire and worked on “The Tudors” in Ardmore Studios, Wicklow.
Willie O’Dea, the third member of the group, is actually DJ Paul Webb. Also from Limerick, the suburb of Raheen, Webb plays the decks for the Rubberbandits. He also played the priest in “Horse Outside” Webb has his own show on the radio station Spin South West and have performed as some of the biggest national and international clubs.
