Susan Boyle will sing "Everybody Hurts" along with other stars.
We know it's not April 11 yet but why wait? Susan Boyle is a very special lady and Sunday is her one-year anniversary, exactly twelve months to the day she first dazzled the world with her rendition of 'I Dreamed A Dream' and started out on her journey to super stardom.
What followed that dramatic debut was a whirlwind of international fame and a host of platinum records that have made her a millionaire many times over.
A staggering 347 million people have watched Susan's first audition video, the day she stepped onto the stage of the 'Britain's Got Talent' show and proceeded to astonish the judges and the audience.
“That was the biggest shock of my three years on this show,” said 'Britain's Got Talent' host Piers Morgan, stunned by the world-class voice he heard from the shy, awkward Scottish woman.
Since her debut, Susan has inspired 9,689,156 fan made tribute videos on YouTube. Her first album, “I Dreamed a Dream,” was released on 23 November 2009 and has become Amazon's best-selling album. According to Billboard, the arrival of “I Dreamed a Dream” marked the best opening week for a female artist's debut album since SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991.
The first single taken from the album, a cover of the Rolling Stones song 'Wild Horses' helped it become the biggest selling album in the world for 2009. Not bad work for the retiring girl whose parents were immigrants from County Donegal.

SBVoyager, I saw that piece of news in BBC Japan too. Susan is so loved in Asia including China which does not have a chart but Susan's album sales surpassed all the big names.

I remember the evening. Susan's voice was like pure liquid gold. It gave me chills listening to her. She fooled them all and I prayed that she would be able to handle stardom, after living such a sheltered life. Then when she eventually sang "Wild Horse's", it blew me away. It just goes to prove, when you have a dream, don't give up on it.

And where is Lady GaGa this week on the UK chart - going back to NO1, now passing sales of Susan in the UK and will sell here for the rest of the year to take sales up to 20million worldwide, SUBO wont make 12million

I did not say i was a GaGa fan, im just pointing out between them both as SUBO fans think that her sales are strong right through, well they are not and SUBO is about to drop out of the top100 in the UK

SBVOYAGER Your reading from The News Of The World, its the worst unture paper in the UK LOLOLOLOL and you believe in it all. My God. I dont think you understand what i was saying, yes Susan sold alot and took over GaGa, but sales have dropped alot and now GaGa as took over Susan with 3million more. I dont think you can get that into your head. Madonna took over BS as the top female singer and now Gaga will take the top from Madonna, and Susan well down near Spears sales.

Oh, just read a couple of UK papers! Lady GAGA LOVES our Lady SUSAN and she said 'Susan Boyle is amazing ... and she'd love to do a DUET WITH SUSAN!' SUSAN BOYLE is at the 'TOP of her list of potential collaborators.' Also, SUSAN loves LADY G and 'would love to do a duet with her ... even with a telephone, too!!!' You've made this past year an amazing,'once-in-a century' happening for your devoted Fans and the World. @belfastj and busterb: we are not jealous of GAGA' successes and fame. And I suspect that SUSAN AND GAGA feel the same way ...'why worry about anyone else?---GOOD for her!' And belfastj, Lady G has 12.8 million CDs sold in 17 months while SUSAN'S has sold 9 million in just FIVE MONTHS! Justifiably, Susan should be PROUD!!! As a US taxpayer, thank you, belfastJ and busterB, for your support of OUR American artist LADY GAGA.

Wow belfastjames drop context much? GaGa certainly had ventures that went no where. Plus she lived and played in urban bergs like NY the capital of the music industry. Not only that but she dropped her Stephanie moniker and went all out with a stage-act to get ahead. No more Stephanie (although I think Stephanie was pretty cool, in some ways more interesting.) If you lived in NY (or were capable of doing basic research) you might know what you were talking about. You must not think much of GaGa if you have to resort to comparing 2 situations that are not directly comparable in a lame attempt to tear somebody down, to build GaGa up. She deserves better fans than you.
