Susan Boyle performs "I Dreamed A Dream" on "Dancing with the Stars"

The talented Susan Boyle took the American stage for the second time in her life on Monday’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars.”

The Scottish singer performed the song that helped her rise to overnight stardom – “I Dreamed A Dream” from “Les Mis," while Tony Dovolani and Chelsie Hightower danced.

Boyle entered the stage with her usual poise and grace, wearing a floor-length sparkly black gown.

The 48-year-old seemed more at ease than she was with her performance of “Wild Horses” on “America’s Got Talent” last month. She commanded the audience, wowing them into a rip-roaring applause as soon as she opened her mouth to sing.

“Dancing” contestant and former teen idol Donny Osmond paid a visit to Susan while she was there. Osmond told The Insider all about meeting Boyle, saying: "I took her some purple roses and we had a great visit. We sang songs together...She knew all of my songs...I sang a song to her and she sang it with me. It was really special."

Another winner besides Susan on the hit dancing show on Monday was Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Sharon, who now infamously bashed Susan’s looks on the radio.

Sharon has since apologized, saying: "Susan Boyle is a lovely gracious woman and I took advantage of that by poking fun at her...I would never want to be responsible for hurting Susan and I must apologise for getting a cheap laugh at her expense."

Kelly made it through to the next round of “Dancing,” beating out fellow contestant and former singer Aaron Carter.

Hi roseofengland, wig was on the first American performance.

Actually, busterbrown, the show, from the producers' perspectives, is really all about the ratings. I'm sure they went up due to Susan's performance. She was the only reason I tuned in.
I didn't notice anything wrong with wig (was it?) or eye make-up. I thought Susan looked at her most beautiful and sang with tremendous sensitivity to the dancers. Another great triumph
Quote: "And have you heard Sharon Osbourne has issued an apology to Susan on her facebook web page? I'm glad she apologized but feel using facebook to do so was very much in ill taste. For one thing Susan doesn't have a computer and will never see the statement unless someone prints it for her or shows her it. Secondly, Sharon made fun of Susan in a very public manner. I think she should go back to the show where she made fun of Susan and issue an apology from there. The same way she made her statements about Susan to start with. And then she should ring up Susan and apologize to her personally. When she does those things then maybe I'll find some forgiveness for Sharon." Unquote

Susan looked fantastic and her singing was out of this world. I loved everything about her performance and was thrilled to see her again. Tony and Chelsie dancing was beautiful too. This was her best performance so far.
Wasn't she just beautiful and amazing? http://indianasusanboylefan.blogspot.com/
Why is there something wrong with the wig or the eye makeup on each appearance. Are the people taking care of Susan professional enough? Are they doing the best for her? Why must wardrobe mishaps and petty things keep popping up?
Susan looked fabulous. Her timing the song to follow the dancers was right on! I look forward to her returning to the States again. On another note, can somebody please give busterbrown his pacifier back? ;-)
oh very very nice performance, forget some of my chat friends but not susan boyle shes my angel and i love watching her sing......
In truth, BB.,it was probably Susan's fans who helped put Kelley through. I know I voted for her and I am sure many other of Susan's fans did as well. She is not responsible for her mother and seems a sweet girl. And she has worked very hard and improved exponentially during the show.
The eye make up looked terrible. She needs to start jumping out of the chair before the make up folks finish.
I'm glad Kelly didn't get kicked off because Susans fans can't control themselves. After all - the show's all about the dancers - not about Susan Boyle.
I loved seeing Susan perform again last night. How sweet of Donny Osmond to take her roses. I'm so glad she got to meet him and spend some time with him. He seems like a truly nice person and he's a great dancer. I love watching her live the dream.
Susan rises to every occasion and she performed beautifully on DWTS. Can't wait to see her live in NYC and to get the new CD - both on the same day - WOW!
Id like to see her do some lambada.
