Susan Boyle prepares for Pope performance - SEE VIDEO
It has been confirmed, straight from the horse's mouth, that Susan Boyle is preparing to sing before Pope Benedict during his visit to the United Kingdom next month.
Boyle will sing before the Holy Father on September 16 at Glasgow's Bellahouston Park.
The "Britain's Got Talent" super star said it is "my greatest dream come true".
"To be able to sing for the Pope is a great honor and something I've always dreamed of. I can't really put into words my happiness that this wish has come true at last."
The spiritual leader of Catholics in Scotland, Cardinal Keith O'Brien had to pleasure of breaking the good news to Boyle. He said "I am delighted that Susan will be able to perform for the Pope. As her Bishop I am hugely proud of her."
Boyle is a devote Catholic and says that she's is very humbled by this opportunity.
She is the second member of the Boyle family to sing before the Pope. In 1982 her sister sang for Pope John Paul II when he visited Scotland.
