A second trailer for  the reboot of “Fright Night” directed by Craig Gillespie has been released (see below).

The remake of the 80’s vampire horror / comedy classic tells the tale of a horror film geek who discovers that his neighbor, Dubliner Colin Farrell, may be vampire. The geeky teen hires a vampire slayer from a TV show to help him defeat the ghoul.

In the new trailer we see the Scottich “Doctor Who” alum as Peter Vincent, a down-on-his-luck magician who shows Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) the finer points of vampire slaying.

So far the new “Fright Night” seems to have more action than the 80s version however some are saying that just from the trailers they can tell that Farrell doesn’t pack as much of a punch as the original creepy next door neighbor, Chris Sarandon.
