Irish star Pierce Brosnan has given "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson an enthusiastic thumbs-up.

Brosnan, who co-stars with Pattinson in the upcoming drama "Remember Me" says Pattinson is a fantastic actor.

"I think when you see Remember Me, you'll see Robert giving a fantastic performance," said Brosnan.

"He's really working hard to work on his performance and acting and who he is."

Brosnan plays Pattinson's father "Remember Me, which is out in theaters in March 2010.

Pattinson plays a young man whose brother's suicide has split up his parents and left him sleepwalking through life.

However, as is the way in Hollywood, boy meets girl (Emile de Ravin) and the new relationship comes under some strain as they try to cope with their respective family tragedies.

Reviews so far have been lukewarm but reviews will probably not stop Pattinson's legion of fans from making the film number one the weekend it comes out.

Several scenes for "Remember Me" were shot in Manhattan last summer and police had to increase security for the young British actor as frenzied fans chased him around the set.

"Reviews so far have been lukewarm" The film hasn't actually had a press screening, it isn't released until March, so what "reviews" are you talking about? There has been a test screening which was recieved quite positively, but even then it wasn't the finished product, the film is still in post-production... Could you be talking about a 2 1/2 minute trailer which your colleague "reviewed"? A man that has taken written negatively about Pattinson at every possible opportunity? Talking about the trailer it currently has a 94% “positive” rating on Trailer Park, and on Rotten Tomatoes it received their best rating “bring it”.
Hey IrishCentral, either find some Irish grandmother in Pattinson's family tree or I'm going to start suspecting you guys are being paid off by his PR agents.
