Bono could be starting a Television career here in the U.S. after talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey expressed interest in giving that rock-star a show on her ne network.

Speaking to the New York Times, Oprah said she recently approached the Dublin man with the idea.

“I look at everything now through the prism of, ‘This could make a very good TV show!’ ” Winfrey told the newspaper.

Oprah admitted that she approached the human rights activist and asked him: “Would you like a TV show?”.

Details of the possible show are not known and it seems too early to speculate.

A regular contributor to her talkshow, Oprah recently interviewed Bono at a special taping of her show at the Sydney Oprah House.

Other potential presenters in Oprah’s new network OWN, include designer Peter Walsh and sex expert Dr. Laura Berman.

Got a review of Spiderman this PM not too good at all. Greatly disappointed that the music of Bono and the Edge got a below average passing grade. At the Golden Globes, the Edge was about the best looking male after Gerard Butler. Is U2 running out of steam or are they over extended? Bono is too serious to carry a show. A U2 fan for years.
He could talk about Bono and then there's Bono and, of course, Bono. Bono solves all the world's problems is in consideration, also.
Is she going to give him a separate show for his ego?
Two stories today - when are you going to go the whole hog and call it "Bono's Blog"?
