Four days after fourth marriage O’Connor announces first album in five years
Just four days after Sinead O’Connor married her boyfriend Barry Herridge in her "absolute dream wedding ceremony" she announced that she will release a new studio album “How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?”.
Her ninth studio album, but her first in the last five years, will be released on 20th February 2012. The album is described as “one of her best and most confident pieces of work so far”.

RollingStone.com says “its ten tracks play like an encyclopedic definition of O’Connor’s oeuvre: songs about love and loss, hope and regret, pain and redemption, anger and justice.”
Although Sinead will begin an international tour in 2012 (dates to be announced) she has been playing gigs at Manchester International Festival, Iceland Airwaves and Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions.
