Color me shocked. Irish action movie star Liam Neeson has revealed that there no plans to make a sequel to The A-Team.
What was it the public didn't like: the ridiculous stunts, the unbelievable plot, the terrible performances, the big dumb movie inspired by a big dumb TV show?
Despite all the bad critical buzz Neeson, who portrayed John 'Hannibal' Smith in The A-Team movie, told the press this week he would like the opportunity to reunite with his co-stars Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley and Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson.
"There's nothing planned at the minute, but the studios certainly aren't saying no," Neeson told the press. "I personally would love to get on the horse again with Bradley and Sharlto and Rampage - we all would. But with the studios and the studio system it's a question of dollars and cents."
The A-Team didn't exactly set the box office alight, grossing $170 million, but Neeson blamed the movie's so-so performance on the bad timing of its release last summer.
"I thought it was a really good movie, you know? And thought it would've done much, much better at the box office in America, but the studio released it the day after the World Cup started, and I think that probably affected the overall performance of the film."
