LA Galaxy’s Robbie and Claudine Keane set for their own E! reality TV show

Will the Keanes take E! by storm?

Time for the Kardashian’s to move over, looks like there’s a new family in town! Claudine Keane, wife of soccer player Robbie Keane, has recently been in talks with E! Entertainment Network about developing a new reality show on the couple’s new LA life.

“E! Entertainment contacted me last week for a meeting and it’s just been going incredibly,” the Dublin native said to The Herald. Presumably to follow suit with the Kardashian mega-brand, The Herald reports that “It is understood the channel is interested in filming an ‘at home’ series with the glamorous mum-of-one.”

The Keanes moved to Los Angeles in August after Robbie signed with the LA Galaxy pro soccer team. He plays alongside with other stars David Beckham and Landon Donovan on the team.

Before moving stateside, lingerie-model Claudine was rumored to have some involvement with other reality programming such as ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ and ‘I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!’ However, she has dedicated herself to motherhood since the birth of the couple’s son Robert.

“She has always wanted to break into TV and E is the perfect vehicle for her,” says one insider to The Daily Mail. “It’s in the early stages but it looks very promising and could really launch the Keanes in the States.”

I believe that Robbie has forgotten that he represents Ireland on the national team. There are games on Oct. 7 & 11 to finish off European qualification. The last two games against Slovakia and Russia were 0-0 and "glitzie" Keane looked lost. His eyes were elsewhere. It was obvious that Hollywood is more on his mind than Euro 2012. On one occasion, Duff put a wonderful pass right on his noggin in front of the goal and you could actually see his eyes gloss over and you could see that he was in another world. He blew it!
Yes, the Kardashians should move over. Like most people here, I don't know from where they came nor for what I should be impressed. 'Tis time for my own people!
