Kathy Griffin has recruited a new BFF: Kate Gosselin
Kathy Griffin has received her fifth Emmy nomination.

Irish American funny gal Kathy Griffin of 'My Life on the D-List' fame just received her fifth Emmy nod. Typically, she had a lot to say about it.

"It turns out I'm up against Ryan Seacrest," she told the press. "This is a smackdown of a biblical level. Originally I was thinking this was a contest of David versus Goliath, but it's really Samson and Delilah, and he's Delilah. I'm also up against a giant network show, 'Undercover Boss,' that aired after the Super Bowl."

"I'm on after a show about a gay guy with a photographer wife who's trying to get Lindsay Lohan to the shoot on time."

"I am so beyond thrilled, even with the 20% pay cut Bravo made me take this year. Being the cockroach that I am, I just keep plugging away."
