Hugh Jackman set to star in Jame’s Cameron’s 3D ‘Fantastic Voyage’
‘Wolverine’ star set for sci-fi drama
Hugh Jackman is in the running for play the lead role for the James Cameron produced 3d remake of the originally 1966 “Fantastic Voyage”, Deadline reports.
The film has been due to start production this year until Darren Aronofsky pulled out as the director. Taking on the role instead is Shawn Levey, who is supposedly gunning for Jackson to play the lead role.
Most of the film is set in Japan, which meant the production was further delayed due to the devastating earthquake and monsoon.
The film will re-invent the sixties classic where a team of scientists shrink into a ship in an attempt to save a colleagues life. A dramatic love story is also involved, which offers a big question, who will play the leading lady?
