Irish charmer Gabriel Byrne

Most celebrity stylist are rarely impressed by the stars they work for. But this week one one confessed to being bowled by the charm of Irish actor Gabriel Byrne.

Grooming expert Dylan Bradshaw told the press he was called in to look after Byrne's locks ahead of his photoshoot for the upcoming charity book by fashion photographer Barry McCall.

'He was without a shadow of a doubt one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was just so giving and so humble. It was a real pleasure to meet him,' Dylan said. 'I was a big fan of his before but I'm even more of a fan now after getting to meet him and just see how normal and nice he is.'

Amongst the other big stars that are scheduled to be photographed are Colin Farrell, Liam Neeson, Pierce Brosnan and Stephen Fry.

Maybe ten years ago, when Mr. Byrne's ex-wife was marrying the Revlon CEO, it was suggested to her that Mr. Byrne and I be introduced. Her silence was descibed as "icy" but later she said that her reticence was really about Mr. Byrne's inability to be "monogamous". That was then--this is now. Mr. Byrne is lovely, then and now.
