Dominic Cooper joins Colin Farrell in thriller movie "Dead Man Down"
The two are set to star in the revenge thriller
Dominic Cooper will be working side-by-side with Irish actor Colin Farrell in the new film thriller ‘Dead Man Down.’ Cooper was picked for a supporting role in the film that also stars Noomi Rapace, the star of the original film version of ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.’
FirstShowing reports that Cooper signed on for ‘Dead Man Down’ after being bumped from a role in ‘Motor City,’ which was initially filled by Jake Gyllenhaal and then Gerard Butler. The English actor was in such recent films as ‘Captain America’ and the Oscar-nominated ‘My Week with Marilyn.’
‘Dead Man Down’ “follows Farrell’s character as he goes undercover in the crime syndicate responsible for killing his family and Rapace as a mysterious woman who knows all about his past,” writes FirstShowing.
Cooper will also be starring in this summer’s adaptation of ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer.’
