Irish American actor Alec Baldwin, 54, tied the knot with yoga instructor girlfriend Hilaria Thomas, 28, this weekend in New York City. The two were married at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York City amidst family and friends.

Baldwin, currently the star of NBC’s ‘30 Rock’ and the recently released film ‘Rock of Ages,’ has been dating his younger girlfriend for over a year. They announced their engagement in April of this year.

Matthew Hiltzik, Baldwin’s friend and spokesman, said "Hilaria Thomas and Alec Baldwin were married this evening at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York City, sharing the occasion with family and friends inside the Cathedral and Alec warmly receiving congratulations from well-wishing fans on his way into the service.”

Reuters reports that Baldwin donned a Tom Ford suit while his beautiful bride wore a dress from Amsale.

Officiated by Reverend George Deas, the ceremony was attended by some of Hollywood’s biggest names including Woody Allen, Mariska Hargitay, Lorne Michaels and Baldwin’s ‘30 Rock’ costar Tina Fey. Robert Kennedy, Jr also attended the highly guarded nuptials.

The New York Daily News reports that following the ceremony, three party buses and black Escalade whisked those in attendance to New York University’s Kimmel Center for the reception. Baldwin, a married man once again, emerged from the Escalade covering his face with a bouquet of flowers.

On Saturday, Baldwin made the news official by tweeting a picture of his hand with a wedding ring. He (@AlecBaldwin) captioned the photo “June 30th, 2012...”

This is the second marriage for Baldwin who went through a bitter divorce with his ex Kim Basinger in 2002. Together, the couple had a daughter named Ireland, who was on hand for her father’s NYC nuptials and reportedly looked “stunning” in a lavender gown.
