The "Saturday Night Live" finale is going to be some show.

The last show of the season, on Saturday, May 15, is heavy on talent.

As IrishCentral.com already reported earlier in the week, Baldwin will appear for the 15th time on the show.

Today we find out that Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will join Baldwin in studio 8H for the season finale.

This will be Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers eighth time on the show as musical guests.

Baldwin will tie with comedian Steve Martin for the most appearances on "SNL."

This will be Tom Petty and band's first television appearance since they headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2008.

The band, who released their first album in 1976, have sold more than 60 million records and have a superb record for selling out concerts around the world.

Their new album "Mojo," to be released June 15 on Reprise Records

As for Baldwin he is a veteran actor.

He has won two Emmy Awards, three Golden Globes, four SAG Awards and a Television Critics Association Award for his part on the hit show "30 Rock."
