He’s the man behind masterpieces such as “Pulp Fiction” and “Kill Bill,” he’s worked with acting vets like John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and Brad Pitt and he’s just released yet another critically acclaimed new film.

But superstar director Quentin Tarantino is pushing it when he expresses his love for fellow Irish-American Lindsay Lohan.

According to Britain’s Daily Star, the legendary film director, 46, gushed about the 23-year-old actress (and trainwreck), saying: “I’ve always loved Lindsay. She is a terrific, terrific actor. I think the work she did in ‘Freaky Friday’ was just top notch acting.”

In the past, Tarantino has stated that Lohan has what it takes to star in one of his films.

"I could cast Lindsay in almost anything,” he said.
