Mickey Rourke has joined the cast of the new action thriller “The Courier”.
It has been reported by The Wrap that he will appear alongside Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Morgan will play “a courier who has taken on improbable missions and never missed a drop." The Hany Abu-Assad film will start shooting this month in New Orleans.
Morgan’s character is hired to deliver a briefcase to a notorious underworld figure who cannot be found. He finds himself being followed by cops, double-crossing federal agents and crime bosses. It has not been revealed what role Rourke will play in the movie.
