Megan Fox's rep has strongly denied that the character she plays in "Transformers," which launched her onto to the world stage, will be killed off in the next installment of the series.
Rumors were flying around that a recent fallout between Fox and movie director Michael Bay led to a decision to kill off the character of Mikaela Banes in the third movie of the "Transformers" series, which is set to hit the big screens in 2011.
However, a spokesperson for the 23-year-old siren told gossipcop.com that stories of the imminent demise of Fox’s character were “not true.”
Bay and Fox have been at loggerheads in recent times, sparring in the press during the promotion of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."
It was thought that the director would take a year off before starting the third "Transformers," but Bay decided to get straight back to work and announced that he had penciled in July 1, 2011 as the release date for the movie.
After Fox compared Bay to being like Hitler on the set, Bay addressed his starlet with the following note on his Web site:
"P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you."
Sounds like the seeds of a beautiful shoot have just been sewn . . .
