Dublin model Georgia Salpa has emerged as the frontrunner for the annual FHM title of the Sexiest Woman in the World. The Irish model, whose dark good looks come from her father’s Greek side, is set to hit the world’s stage with this coveted title.
In the past five years Salpa (27) has managed to win a slot in the top five years but after a thorough campaign carried out by her Twitter followers and devoted fans the Irish Independent reports that the bookies are giving her good odds on the prize for 2013.
Past winners of the coveted title include Megan Fox, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Upton and Mila Kunis.
Last month Salpa stripped down for a lingeries shoot to launch the online poll. She told the Irish Sun “The shoot was great! I loved wearing the super-skimpy lingerie. It’s great doing a shoot when you feel so sexy.
“I remember FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World from school! All the boys would buy it and the girls loved looking through it.”
