Colin Farrell is transforming his body to play Arnold Schwarenegger role in ‘Total Recall’

Colin Farrell has got his groove back.

The former bad boy, who explored near-Charlie Sheen levels of epic dysfunction for a while there, has put all that excess behind him and according to The Star has recently been lifting weights and training intensively for the remake of Total Recall, the 1990 hit which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead.

The 34-year-old irish hunk has reportedly grown a full beard has given up cigarettes and booze to get in peak shape for the $300 million action film which is set to begin filming in May.

Farrell is also currently rumored to be dating pop singer Rihanna. After meeting the statuesque singer last year in the UK he was smitten and may even have invited the 23-year-old to meet his family in Castleknock in Dublin.
