Singer Christina Aguilera sings the national anthem before Game Six of the 2010 NBA Finals

Christina Aguilera belted out “The Star Spangled Banner” last night at the NBA final. Lakers were beat the Boston Celtics 83-79.
Last night’s match broke records as the most viewed with millions tuning in around the globe.

This was the second time that Christina Aguilera sang the national anthem. On June 15 she also had to honor. It now seems that she might be the Lakers very own lucky charm as the team are unstoppable.

Unfortunately Aguilera’s own luck of late hasn’t been great. Her new album “Bionic” entered the charts at number three and the sales have been slower than projected. Also Aguilera recently had to cancel her summer tour and the response to her new video “Not Myself Tonight” has been less than favorable.

Perhaps singing for the Lakers could be full time gig. Right now the series is tied between the Lakers and the Boston Celtic with three wins each.

The Lakers were down 3-2 last night before Aguilera’s rendition of the national anthem tipped them over to edge.
