Surely you’ve heard Kim Kardashian ‘broke the internet’ last week with her nude photo shoot for fashion magazine Paper. Her bountiful bottom, in all its literally shining glory, has made quite an impact.

Irish women are responding actively to the photographs and, after a look at Kim’s famous derriere, they’ve started to reconsider their own backsides, according to Jennifer O’Donovan, spokeswoman for the Therapie Clinic chain in Ireland.

O’Donovan reports the chain has had a 100% spike in demand for their ‘Brazilian bum lifts’ in the wake of Kardashian’s bold move, according to the Irish Examiner.

The procedure is non-invasive – what it does is “liquefies fat on the buttocks and lifts the shape it into a more curvy-style behind made famous by celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce.”

Within just a few days of the photoshoot's publication, the number of bookings at Therapie Clinic doubled. “People are literally walking in the door with cut-outs of the pictures,” O’Donovan said.

“People are looking for curves,” O’Donovan said. “The curvy figures have become more acceptable.”

The newly sought-after procedure uses a combination of bipolar radio frequency and infrared heat with vacuum rollers to travel through the layer of subcutaneous fat, “repositioning some of the malleable fat for a more appealing buttock contour,” said O’Donovan.

More Irish women have opting to go under the knife for buttock augmentation surgery as well, says one of Ireland’s leading plastic surgeons, Dr. Ahmed Salman.

Would you ever opt for surgery to look like Kim K.?
