Classical violinist Greg Harrington is due to release a new CD of unaccompanied Bach on December 2nd in the Irish Arts Center. Along with his Bach set he will be playing covers of many famous artists including Miles Davis, Leonard Cohen and U2. His new sound is a cross between Andrea Bocelli and John Coltrane on a violin with a GQ/Esquire touch!

As an accomplished artist Greg has performed all over the world since winning the Artists International Competition in 2003. He has toured as a solo artist in four continents with many esteemed symphony orchestras. He has played in some of the worlds most prestigious venues ranging from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Royal Festival Hall in London as well as the prestigious National Performing Arts Center in Beijing.

Greg has collaborated and recorded with Grammy winning artists including the Emerson String Quartet, legendary Irish fiddler Martin Hayes, British virtuoso Simon Mulligan, celebrated jazz bassist John Patitucci, and singer Vince Gill. He has appeared on TV across the US, Ireland, Mexico and New Zealand, performed for audiences of 20,000 for the televised NBA playoffs and has given performances for major world leaders, most recently Vice President of the United States Joe Biden.
