In the lead-up to St. Patrick’s Day, the Irish to the Core Contest, sponsored by Castle Brands, is back for a second year.
The Irish to the Core portfolio, also known as Ireland’s Legendary Clan of spirits features Boru Vodka, Knappogue Castle 12 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey, Clontarf 1014 Irish Whiskey, Celtic Honey Liqueur and Brady's Irish Cream.
The Irish to the Core contest celebrates the love America has for the Irish by asking fans to upload a picture that shows Why they Love the Irish for a chance to win a trip to Ireland and thousands of dollars in cash prizes. Photos will be judged on creativity, popularity and relevance.
Participants can submit one reason per day from January 17 through March 23 to Irish to the Core’s Facebook page or dedicated micro-website. Fans are also asked to vote on their favorite submissions through March 30, 2014.
One Grand Prize winner will be announced on April 8. The lucky fan will receive a trip to Ireland for two, including flights, hotel accommodations, car rental and $500 cash. Participants can also compete for a chance to win a $10,000 sweepstakes and other cash prizes once they register and vote; two bonus entries will be awarded to those that share the contest with friends on Facebook and Twitter.
