Somewhere in the distance the choice jam “Started from the Bottom” by Drake is playing softly. The beat is done with the chirps of birds and the laughter of school children. This can only mean one thing: spring is finally here.

March 20th is the first day of spring in America, and after a grueling winter few are disappointed by its arrival.
Here are ten reasons why it’s an amazing time of year.

The days are getting longer

No sun sets, no curfews, no masters.

Tiny, adorable, farm animal babies

It's ok to jump for joy like a little kid.

Shedding all of winter's excess layers

Some started earleir than others and we applaud their bravery.

Cadbury Creme Eggs

Chocolate and nature join forces and the result is delicious.

Birds are finally back

The winter-long silent protest of cold weather has ended.

It’s so nice out that you actually want to spend MORE time outside

This activity is only fun in the spring, everyone knows that.

Car rides: windows down, music up

Did someone say ‘road trip’?

Perfect time of year for an evening walk

The dog’s excitement is shared when spring is on.

Flowers are coming back

Stop and smell whatever colorful plant you can shove your nose at.

Nature is finally pretty again

Drink it in and savor it.

Only a few weeks until we begin complaining about the harsh heat of summer.
Happy Spring!
