Dublin is filled to the brim with charm and personality to boot. The city's allure has attracted visitors for years and shows no sign of stopping

With a visit to Dublin, you're guaranteed to have a good time. Whether you're after a city break, history, or some stunning scenery, Dublin has it all. Here are five of our favorite things to do in Dublin.

Gravedigger Ghost tour

This tour is a must for anyone with even the slightest of interests in Ireland's spooky history. It's rare you'll find a tour in a city that even locals enjoy - but this is one of them! This tour will bring visitors through some haunted churchyards and sites throughout Dublin, and finishes everything up nicely with a pint of Guinness at Gravediggers pub, right by Glasnevin cemetery (widely believed to have the best pint of Guinness in the city).

Visit the Irish Whiskey Museum

Whiskey's popularity in Ireland is growing and growing - and certainly shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. The Irish Whiskey Museum allows visitors to learn about the rich history behind Irish whiskey, while also being taught about the current batch of Irish whiskey brands cropping up and taking the industry by storm.

See Glendalough, Powerscourt, and the Wicklow Mountains

A trip to Ireland isn't complete without getting out of the city and immersing yourself in the incredible scenery that can be found all over the country. With this in mind, a trip to Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains is a must for anyone interested in getting out and about in the Irish countryside. On your way to Glendalough why not stop by the Powerscourt gardens and explore the wonderful premises of one of Ireland's most luxurious mansion houses.

Dublin is a coastal city, and offers up some really incredible views, no more so than when seen from a boat! Take an amazing cruise across the bay, from the south side of the city to the beautiful fishing village Howth, on the northside. From Howth, you'll get some incredible views of the city and have the chance to sample some of Ireland's finest seafood.
