Guinness

Few things are more Irish than a pint of the black stuff, and Irish Central Shop is extremely proud to host the largest offering of Guinness merchandise currently on the web. Whatever your pressing Guinness need, our online store has got it all: Guinness rugby jerseys, Guinness print posters, Guinness fridge magnets, Guinness soft slippers shaped exactly like the stout — to name just a few!

Why is Guinness so wrapped up in modern Irish history? First of all, Arthur Guinness founded his brewery at a time where most people were drinking beer since the water was so polluted: beer’s brewing process killed off the germs that made water so unsafe. It was 1759 when Arthur signed his famous 9,000 year lease at St. James Gate and started brewing Dublin ale (for those doing the math, yes, there’s still over 8700 years left on the lease!). Arthur’s sons that inherited the business continued the family tradition, only using materials of the highest caliber to produce the amazing-tasting beer. By the end of the 19th century, the Guinness brewery was the largest in the world, and the biggest employer in Dublin.

Guinness’s high standards don’t just apply to their delicious beer, but to all of their merchandise. We can guarantee that whether you’re looking for something as random as a candle shaped like a pint of Guinness, a Guinness makeup compact, or a simple Guinness t-shirt, you’re getting the same top-of-the-line quality they have delivered for centuries.
