John McLoughlin and friends packed into a camper van with one thing in mind: enjoying life on the road in Ireland.

The six lads drove through 16 counties, traveled over 710 miles and stopped anywhere that caught their interest, including a GAA match or two.

Filmed on their humble selfie stick in the crowded van, dancing in nightclubs or adventuring up castle towers happened across in the Irish countryside, the group of lads show us many of the reasons why Ireland is the perfect place to holiday, even if it does rain.

Cork native John and his five friends, Thomas McCormack (Mayo), Jack Freeman (Wexford), Padraig Groarke (Roscommon), Gary O' Keefe (Kilkenny), and Seoirse Boyle (Donegal), packed into the van for seven days, traveling from the east coast, down through Wexford, on to Cork and up the Wild Atlantic Way.

If anything, their epic road trip should remind us of the joyous feeling of living life in the moment.
