I have been to Powerscourt and Muckross House in the fall and to Kylemore Gardens in April. All very beautiful and enjoyable. So peaceful and quiet. I can't wait to visit more of the Irish gardens.

RE the Powerscourt Gardens: Truly beautiful area, but the waterfall is not on the grounds; requires a drive and a separate admission fee.

I have been to several of these gardens and they were well worth the trip. The climate encourages a large variety of plants and trees and we had a wonderful time visiting.
